Enhanced axial migration of a deformable capsule in pulsatile channel flows

چکیده
We present numerical analysis of the lateral movement a deformable spherical capsule in pulsatile channel flow, with Newtonian fluid almost inertialess condition and at small confinement ratio $a_0/R = 0.4$, where $R$ $a$ are radius. find that speed axial migration can be accelerated by flow pulsation specific frequency. The increases oscillatory amplitude, while most effective frequency remains basically unchanged independent amplitude. Our results form fundamental basis for further studies on cellular mechanics, since flows physiologically relevant human circulation, potentially affecting dynamics particles red blood cells (RBCs), also exploited cell focusing techniques.
